Round 2 of the Scottish GT12 Clubmans series took place today at Dundee and Angus Radio Control Car Klub.

The 2015/16 1/12th National Series headed to Crewe for round 2 of the season. This is the last time that the Crewe national will be held in the Oakley Centre as in the coming days the building will no longer be standing. This venue first held a national in the early 90’s and we hope to see Crewe on the national calendar again soon.

The BRCA GT section would like some F1 drivers to volunteer to attend a demonstration at the REEDY race at Milton Keynes shopping centre.

Every year at its AGM, each section of the BRCA recognises one of its drivers, officials or other associated figures with a section award.

Section awards are usually given to individuals who have gone the extra mile for the section on a specific occasion or over a period of time.

Last weekend saw the first round of the 2015/16 BRCA 1/12 Nationals take place at West Kent Radio Car Club. This venue has quickly become a regular fixture on the national’s calendar having built up a good club following and boasting an excellent track and facilities.

The BRCA 1:10 Electric on road committee are delighted to announce that they will be promoting a Scottish Grand Prix to be held at the Stonehaven track over the weekend of 6th -7th August 2016. This meeting will be free, yes that's FREE to enter.

Entry fees for the 2016 Clubman National Series and the National series will be reduced. The Clubman's will now be £13 and the National £22.50. The section funds are healthy and so the committee feel the reduction suitable. Another demonstration that your committee are listening to you....

This was the Fifth round of the 2015 clubman’s series. Later in the day the track temperature was over 40 deg.

Round 1 of the HNMC winter series kicked off on the 25th October sorry for the late report!

78 drivers braved the winter conditions Darren Bloomfield nitro Buggy, Darren Pollard E-Buggy took TQ and Peter Bird in Truggy.

The eagerly anticipated British Open was arranged by both the 1/8th and 1/10th Committee aside from the respective championships to help promote all the nitro on-road classes and crown champions over one weekend of racing.

The third round of this year’s championship was hosted by the Mendip circuit in Weston Super Mare. With the main championship contenders of Green and Wood were in attendance after ETS and Holiday commitments.

On Saturday the weather was good which allowed for some very constructive practice by all drivers and you could see the track conditions improve throughout the day and the lap times coming down to the magical 15.4 second bracket. The circuit in recent years is getting less use and therefore the surface is becoming very abrasive which is confirmed by the very high tire wear suffered by all the drivers.

Mark Green Top Qualifies and wins at recent 1/8th On Road race meeting at Wombwell, The Wombwell track was one of the first in this country to race 1/8 scale circuit cars with many drivers saying it is one of the best drivers tracks around and once the grip is high.

The first round of the 2015 season was hosted by the Cotswolds Club and the weather forecast was for rain all weekend and it didn’t disappoint. Over the winter we normally see a host of drivers switching teams but this year it seems to have remained static at the top. One notable change is Jason frost switching to the Capricorn team to partner team leader Kyle Branson and Neal King.
